Mourne ABC
GILFORD ABC held their 25th anniversary show in the Seagoe Hotel, Banbridge on Saturday past, welcoming English and Lithuanian champions to box a Gilford select.
All Blacks boxer Sé Clarke was nothing short of brilliant at the event. Clarke boxed four-times Area champion and reigning English Schoolboy champion Noah Worth from the Billingham club. Worth smothered hard-punching Clarke’s right crosses; however, periodically, the All Blacks boxer unleashed a series of blinding punches which found their target.
What a contest it was, with both of these hard-hitting teenagers showcasing boxing at its best. It was a toss of a coin to decide the winner, but regardless, it was surely Clarke’s best performance to date, despite the fact Worth won this close contest.
Mourne All Blacks ABC would like to congratulate Noah Worth and wish him future success. The club would also like to thank Gilford ABC and the Seagoe Hotel for hosting a great evening of sport.
