A kindhearted young Annalong man, who has devoted the past decade to supporting charities, has just reached the remarkable landmark of raising £100,000 for good causes. However, Nathan Pierson is not resting on his laurels and is ploughing on to reach his goal of raising £20,000 for a local children’s cancer charity.
At the weekend, Nathan was thrilled to announce he had reached his overall fundraising target, but with a few more events in the pipeline in aid of Angel Wishes, Nathan—or ‘SuperNat’ as he’s known in certain circles—hopes to reach his target for this charity by the start of August.
With £13,000 already raised of the £20,000 he has pledged to raise for Angel Wishes, Nathan said that whilst the end is in sight, he still needs the community’s help to get him over the finish line.
Admitting Saturday was an emotional day when he confirmed he had reached his £100,000 fundraising goal, Nathan said none of this would have been possible without the support of his family, friends, and the generous community alike. He said that as soon as he realised, “I finally did it,” he was hit with a wave of emotions.
“I am so proud of myself right now,” he told his local paper. “I want to thank everyone who has supported my fundraising journey, and want people to know that I have a few more fundraisers and challenges still to do.”
