Comber Rec Ladies were the visitors to Millbridge on Monday evening and the away side found themselves trailing at the break. However, they stepped up in the second half to secure the three points with a 4-2 win.

Ballynahinch started well and should have gone ahead after eight minutes following a corner from Cosgrove which saw the ball bounce around the six-yard box. Unfortunately, in the scramble, Ballynahinch couldn’t get the vital touch and the ball was cleared.

The remainder of the half saw both teams create half chances as the battle intensified in midfield, with some strong challenges.
