Jill Truesdale has brought forward local people's concerns about anti-social behaviour in Annalong.

A LOCAL councillor has expressed concern about a “significant rise” in antisocial behaviour in Annalong.

Cllr Jill Truesdale said cars were coming down to Marine Park and “racing around” and performing ‘doughnuts’, “creating dangerous conditions in what is usually a peaceful area”.

Local residents, she added, are sick and tired of this antisocial driving. “These selfish individuals need to realise this behaviour will not be tolerated,” she stated.

“More and more residents are utterly fed up with the lack of thought and respectfulness for others out for walks with their dog or just enjoying the lighter nights.

“In addition, the toilets at Marine Park have been repeatedly vandalised, costing the ratepayer thousands of pounds.”
