Castlewellan’s Donagh ‘Irish Kid’ Keary will box his sixth professional fight, and his first of 2026, on a Conlon Sports card at the iconic Waterfront Hall, Belfast, on Friday, February 27.

The 12-fight card will also see Keary’s stablemate and sparring partner Conor Quinn box for the vacant Commonwealth flyweight title. This bout will be the 21-year-old Keary’s first six-round contest, as he takes on veteran English boxer Jake Pollard (1-102-0).

The experienced Pollard will provide a tough test for Keary, but the Castlewellan man goes into the fight full of confidence following his victory over another veteran, Steve Maguire, in November last year.

As it is a 12-fight show, tickets are limited. Supporters are advised to contact the @irishkidkeary Instagram page to secure tickets as soon as possible, or alternatively contact Keary’s co-manager Bobby Lavery on 07808175612.

The fight will be televised live on DAZN, marking Keary’s third appearance on the sports broadcast platform. Keary and his team would like to thank their 2025 sponsors, as well as those who have already committed their support to the Waterfront Hall fight in February.
