Dundrum Cricket Club is approaching the 2025 season with a great sense of excitement as they look to continue the development of the village club.
With Dundrum recently voted the best place to live in Northern Ireland, there is an argument that Dundrum Cricket Club is the best place to play cricket in Northern Ireland!
There is little debate that Dundrum has one of the most picturesque cricket clubs in Ireland, situated next to the Moneycarragh River at the base of the majestic Mourne Mountains.
In recent years, the club has continued to invest and improve their facilities. They have added new outdoor double-bay practice nets, a new electronic scoreboard, and refurbished the club pavilion.
Over the course of the off-season, the club has continued the improvements, with new outfield drainage and levelling of the outfield.
The biggest change at The Meadow this coming season will be the introduction of livestream cameras, which will allow the club to broadcast all of their home matches.
On the field, the small village outfit continues to make massive strides to produce competitive cricketers and compete with the biggest clubs in the NCU.
