FUNDS have been presented to charity in memory of a popular and well thought of local woman. Jacqui McGrady, of Dromara, raised money for charity during her life.
Last year, she was raising money for MacMillan Cancer Support until she passed away in December 2024.
Last week her family and friends paid tribute to her efforts by donating the money she raised to the representatives from the charity for use in their work. Jacqui began attending a line dancing class at Downpatrick Leisure Centre prior to the Covid pandemic as part of the MacMillan Move More programme.
Eventually, Jacqui started teaching the class, with everyone who attended contributing a few pounds each week to go to the cancer charity.
