THE Schomberg Society’s Fusefm Mourne radio station is returning to the airwaves for its summer broadcast of 2024.
The broadcast commences on Thursday the 27th of June at 8am and Fusefm Mourne will be broadcasting for two weeks, finishing on Wednesday the 10th of July.
The radio station will be broadcasting alongside the Schomberg Society’s annual Ulster-Scots Hairtlan Festival, which will be hosting a huge range of events and activities over the 14-day period to showcase the best of Ulster-Scots.
“Fusefm Mourne will provide a great opportunity to keep you all updated with the festival events and activities taking place, right up until the 11th of July, which is always the highlight of the year for everyone in the Schomberg Society,” added a spokesperson.
The popular radio station has a fantastic lineup of presenters and DJs to keep the community entertained this summer, with a super selection of shows taking place every day over the two weeks, from 8am to 11pm.
It is delighted to be welcoming back many familiar faces this summer, but also some new faces who are joining the team for the first time.

It will be broadcasting live from the annual Ulster-Scots Gathering on Friday the 28th of June at the Silent Valley Reservoir and will also be hosting a live Ulster-Scots Gospel concert on the evening of Sunday the 7th of July.
A full copy of the radio schedule for the two weeks of broadcasting will be available on the Fusefm Mourne website and app before the broadcast commences next week.
