A KILKEEL mother is “at breaking point” due to the “unbearable” conditions she is being forced to live in.
Joeline Curran has said she would “feel safer living in a tent” in the garden of her Abbey Park home rather than being made to endure conditions in her “health hazard, mould-ridden” home.
Describing the conditions as “horrendous” and “not fit for habitation”, she said she is at her wits’ end and fears that what is growing in and throughout her home is having serious long-term health effects on both her and her children.
Sitting in tears in the living room of her property, which she moved into over a decade ago, the local woman said she could not understand why, as a NI Housing Executive tenant, the conditions she is being forced to live in don’t seem to be a priority.
Read the full story in which Joeline goes on to explain how the experience has affected her and her family.
