KING Charles III arrived in Newcastle today for what is believed to be the first visit to the town by a reigning monarch.
His Majesty’s first stop was Newcastle Community Cinema, where he met the staff, volunteers, visitors, artists and creatives who bring the space to life.
It is the 43rd time that Charles has visited Northern Ireland, first as Prince of Wales and now as King.
After leaving the Newcastle Community Cinema Charles then walked around to meet the crowds who had came to catch a glimpse.

Charles took the time to speak to those who had assembled outside Newcastle Community Cinema.
