THE Belfast Telegraph have published a video feature about the Mourne Observer’s new Down Recorder edition.
The Mourne Observer bought the Down Recorder title and its archives earlier this year and are now publishing a second version of the paper, which is an edition which has a focus on the Downpatrick and surrounding areas.
The Belfast Telegraph sent their reporter and photographer to the Mourne Observer offices last week to interview Editor Stephen Patton about the decision to take on this new venture.
Stephen told them, “We’re trying to continue that legacy that the reporters and the photographers from the Down Recorder did so wonderfully for the past almost 190 years.”
