In a celebration of talent, teamwork, and triumph, Newcastle Netball Club hosted its annual Awards Night at Annesley Hall on Friday, 6 June. The event brought together players, coaches, families, and supporters from all sections of the club to honour a season packed with growth, success, and community spirit.

From the youngest U-10 players to the seasoned members of the senior league and social squads, the evening was a fitting finale to what has been one of the most successful and vibrant seasons in the club’s history.

Club chairperson Charlotte Elliott opened the evening with a warm welcome and a heartfelt reflection on the year. “It’s been a truly memorable season,” she said. “The club continues to go from strength to strength—we’ve seen a fantastic increase in membership across all age groups and abilities, we’ve had competitive success, and we’ve further cemented our reputation as a club that supports, includes, and celebrates everyone.”

This year, Newcastle Netball has continued to grow in size and spirit. With a significant rise in member numbers across junior and senior age groups, the club has worked hard to ensure there’s a place for everyone—whether they’re new to netball or seasoned players.
