Quarter one
Newcastle started the match with calm and composed play, demonstrating excellent teamwork and patience in their build-up.
Erin, stepping out of her usual defensive role to play GA, adapted brilliantly, showcasing sharp movement and accurate shooting.
Captain Clare led by example at GS, while Therese, Áine, and Aishling provided a strong defensive backbone.
Despite solid resistance from Clann Éireann, Newcastle ended the quarter narrowly behind, 9-12.
Quarter two

Erin returned to her familiar defensive role at WD, where she combined with Áine to disrupt Clann Éireann’s attacking rhythm.
Newcastle maintained their composure under pressure, carefully valuing possession of the ball and executing clinical plays. They remained unfazed by the impressive shooting of Clann Éireann’s GS, keeping their defensive structure intact.
