Rodgers Hardware & Building Supplies has proudly served the Newcastle community since 1980. Founded by John and Imelda Rodgers, the business began in the former Ormeau Bakery premises next to Welby’s Floral Service Station at 80 Dundrum Road. In 1989, the business moved to a purpose-built store and yard at its current location, 84a Dundrum Road, to accommodate its growing range of hardware and building materials.
Over the decades, Rodgers Hardware has evolved to meet the needs of both trade professionals and DIY enthusiasts. We now operate a fully computerised accounts and stock control system, and our upgraded website makes it easier than ever to explore our product range and services.
In addition to offering a wide selection of building supplies, tools, and home improvement products, we have recently expanded to include a Plant and Tool Hire service—perfect for larger jobs or one-time projects. Our store also stocks a full range of decorating and garden care supplies for homeowners and hobbyists.
As a family-run business with over 45 years of experience, we’re proud to continue serving our loyal customers and the wider Newcastle area. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all our staff, past and present, and to the many customers and friends who have supported us throughout the years.
