Brothers Ethan, Brandon and Kurtis Hanna who were proudly representing Schomberg Boxing Club at the Ulster Novice Championships.

The weekend past was a special occasion for Schomberg Boxing Club as it was represented for the first time at competitive level. Four young members of the Schomberg Boxing Club, including three brothers, were competing in the Ulster Novice Boxing Championships.

Schomberg BC congratulate all four boys who did themselves and the club proud, and a special mention to Kaison Magill and Brandon Hanna, who both came home with silver medals.

The championships were a fantastic experience for the boxers, and in the coming months, they look forward to once again representing Schomberg Boxing Club at future competitions.

Training continues on both Monday and Thursday evenings in the Silent Valley Orange Hall, just outside Kilkeel. Classes are available for juniors (age 7 plus) from 7.15pm to 8pm, and classes for high school age and adults from 8pm to 9pm.

If you would like to get involved with the club, or want further information, please get in contact with the Schomberg Boxing Club via 07753222553 or email: schombergsociety@gmail.com.
