SHIMNA Integrated College is celebrating the success of Year 10 student Evie Gorman, who won the Junior Girls shot putt title in the All-Ireland Championships held in Tullamore.
This is yet another remarkable achievement in a record-breaking year for sport at Shimna.
Jacinta Doyle, Head of Girls’ PE at the local college, commented: “I’m so pleased for Evie.
“She has worked so hard for this success.”
Year 9 student Eve McNamara finished sixth in the minor girls 75-metre hurdles.
