Sport NI have responded to queries sent by the Mourne Observer, and have said that they are ‘committed to the long-term future of the Tollymore National Outdoor Centre’ but have explained that not all jobs are safe.
The Mourne Observer’s coverage also includes comments from the union NIPSA who have voiced their deep concern and disappointment.
Former trainee at the centre, MLA Andrew McMurray also explained how dear the centre is to him and explained why it must be protected.
