The long-awaited new bowling pavilion has opened in Newcastle.

Council chairperson Charlie Casey cuts a ribbon to officially open the new bowling pavilion in Newcastle. Included are bowling club presidents, Dessie Forde, Ann Poland and Pauline McCormick, Council director Michael Lipsett, chief executive Liam Hannaway and Councillors Glyn Hanna, Harold McKee and Willie Clarke.
