Former Spa GC Head Professional Simon Thornton set a new course record at the club last Wednesday, shooting an incredible round of 65.
Commenting on the achievement on social media, Thornton said: “Thanks very much to everyone for all the messages on breaking the course record at Spa Golf Club.
“I’m delighted and the course is playing fantastically at the moment, the greens are running superbly.”
