TOLLYMORE residents fear they could be left virtually stranded because of damage caused close to their homes during Storm Éowyn.
There are 11 properties along Wild Forest Close.
For close to 50 years there has been confusion as to who owns and has responsibility for Wild Forest Lane, the route which leads off the Tollymore Road to their properties.

Its roots ripped out a sizeable piece of tarmac, which now resembles, as one local councillor put it, ‘ a large crumbling hole’.
Residents say it is extremely dangerous.
In the full article read about the measure the residents have taken to address the safety concerns at the lane. Read the full story now in the current issue of the Mourne Observer.
