Downpatrick dancers celebrate US success

A GROUP of local dancers swept the boards at a leading dance competition in America. 

Downpatrick’s Kasana Dancers triumphed at the United Country Western Dance Council’s World Championships. 

Seven members of the local group, along with their instructor Kathryn Strain, competed. 

The local club was one of just three from across Ireland competing against Dancers across the globe.  

The Kasana Dancers brought home an astounding 11 winning titles from Orlando.
